Micheal Angeles (urlgreyhot.com) pointed out the interactive floor at the Toys R Us, Time Square, NY. Looking at it, made me smile - together with baschz, we got nominated for the Fusedspace competition (2004) for a similar concept, but targeted at outdoor playgrounds, including skate parks.
Digging a bit further reveals that that floor comes from a company called Reactrix. Bookmark them in case you want to create an “immersive” enviroment.
